Anniversary symposium on scientific writing with AI and ChatGPT

German Medical Science - GMS for short - is a pioneer of open access publishing. The first publications went online on July 1, 2003. GMS is operated jointly by the Association of the Scientific Medical Societies in Germany (AWMF), the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) and ZB MED - Information Center for Life Sciences. The portal offers free access to high-ranking and quality-checked specialist articles from all areas of medicine. On December 14, 2023, around 60 visitors met at ZB MED in Cologne to celebrate the anniversary with the symposium Scientific writing with AI and ChatGPT - where is the journey going?
