For the Leibniz Association
LeibnizOpen
LeibnizOpen is the central open access portal run by the Leibniz Association. LeibnizOpen contains freely accessible digital publications submitted by researchers from Leibniz institutes. The Leibniz Association uses LeibnizOpen to promote the free exchange of, and open access to, scientific information.
If you work at a Leibniz institute from section C (Life Sciences) or E (Environmental Sciences) and would like to make your publications available through LeibnizOpen, then ZB MED – Information Centre for Life Sciences/PUBLISSO is your point of contact.
SpringerOpen Prepay Membership
ZB MED has negotiated a prepay membership for Leibniz institutes with SpringerOpen. This agreement entitles scientists and researchers from Leibniz institutes to claim a discount on the publishing fees charged for publications in approximately 320 BioMed Central and SpringerOpen journals. To help Leibniz institutes inform their staff members about this discount, ZB MED also offers a personalised flyer which you can download and hand out as required.

Open access publication fund of the Leibniz Association
The open access publication fund of the Leibniz Association finances article processing fees charged by open access journals. The fund is open to all authors from Leibniz Institutes. Thus the fund supports the open access strategy and aims at increasing scientific open access publications.
