Newly established: Advisory Board for the PUBLISSO Platform Gold

The committee is responsible for the quality-assured selection of new publications on the platform, as well as for monitoring further technical development in the spirit of Open Science.

The expert panel met for its constituent meeting on 2 December 2021. The scientific advisory board is made up of six experts from various life science disciplines and the Open Science movement. In this way, ZB MED promotes exchange with researchers and scientific editors in order to further develop the publication platform in line with demand and to enable researchers to continue quality-assured publishing at fair prices in the future.

"With the constitution of the scientific advisory board for the PUBLISSO - Platform Gold, a further step has been taken to anchor the platform in the life sciences community," states Prof. Dr. Ursula Arning, head of the Open Science department at ZB MED.
