Research institutions around the world are facing the challenge of promoting digitisation in their laboratories by introducing an Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN). Pioneers in this field are, for example, the University of Edinburgh and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

The need for competent advice is therefore great. For this reason, ZB MED has developed a comprehensive range of services in this area. One component of this is the ELN Guide, which is already in its 2nd edition in German. 

And now an English version is also available! The content of the ELN Guide has been adapted to the requirements of international users, for example, by not including links to purely German information sources. The ELN Guide is intended to provide those responsible for information infrastructures as well as researchers with the necessary information to be able to organise the decision-making process for the selection of a suitable ELN individually and in line with their needs.
