The DFG's scientific recommendations for the risk assessment of substances used in the workplace are published by PUBLISSO.

After the German edition went online in June, the English version is now also available in open access. The Permanent Senate Commission for the Investigation of Health Hazards of Chemical Compounds in the Workplace of the German Research Foundation (DFG) has drawn up the recommendations for the 60th time. The abbreviation MAK stands for Maximum Workplace Concentration, BAT for Biological Agent Tolerance Values. The list forms the scientific basis for the legislation governing occupational health and safety in Germany and beyond.
